Who cares?

Who actually plays this? Serious question.

I think the exact quote from them was, "here are OUR patches, and you will like the patches because we tell you you will & that is that you losers!"

Try a board game, you'll have a better experience!

Board games aren't always the best answer either. I have a North Africa game (by GMT I think) that left Tobruk off the map!

HA- which game was that Bill?

After owning probably a 100 "historical simulation" war-board games I'm down to 20 or so, the AH classics and a few others I enjoyed.

It was The Battle for North Africa--War in the Desert, 1940-42 by Richard Berg and GMT Games. In the errata sheet under "The Map" they said: "Tobruk, for those who couldn't find it, is L3535 (and don't ask)."

That Tobruk was a difficult place to locate. All the transports, troops, and equipment were very well camo'd.

So why dont the powers that be here open a CMSF whining section.
The bitching that I continually hear about a game that none of you have
any thought of ever playing is very sad.
Get off it already...... find something to replace CMBO/BB/AK
cause unless im mistaken you wont be happy with CM2 engine when it hits WW2.
We-go seems to be dead.... no more poring over 1 minute of action for hours to
plot the "Bold lightning flanking movement"
CMSF plays pretty well in real time. Anyone who really likes
the modern combat in Real time will enjoy this game...is it perfect?
NO but its not worth the constant bitching and ripping that it gets here.

Cmon really.... find something that gives you pleasure and go play it,
quit dwelling on something most would never have liked even if it was a flawless
real time game.
