Here's an interesting discussion at GS about Battlefront, CMSF, the CM x 1 games and the CM x 2 engine. It is not pretty when viewed from Battlefront's perspective concerning how its CM x 1 customer base has received CMSF and CM x 2. Here is where it starts:

By the way Don Maddox spent a great deal of time in his CM section on Friday night, but did not make a post. He and his forum mod were on at the same time on Friday.

They really missed the barn door on this one. I'm still waiting for combat mission campaigns to come out; if it ever does:(.
