Diverse Round 4
 

Hey,

We've now "done" all 3 of the top picks from the Diverse Tourney Poll:

Small map scenarios average unit count. 1 11.11%
Small map, just a few selected "elite" type units. 2 22.22%
Average everything. 2 22.22%
Large map, selected elite unit types. 1 11.11%
Large map, average unit count. 2 22.22%
Something different again (one type unit etc...) 1 11.11%

The other three are "average" minus something different- but I think most of mine fit that category!

Someone mentioned doing an AK round, I can do that, just need some ideas. Of course the level of "historical" would determine the design time.

Kinda like the limited map concept, with mirrored equipment...AK period of Italy ....

I like medium or larger maps, AK, late war, balanced combined arms, and maybe a few surprises for both sides.

I can't wait to play some CMAK again -- love those M10s

Im onboard for CMAK also, rather play as the Allies in CMAK over the Ruskies inCMBB anytime.

Is that as in, "I love using those M10's" or as in "I love destroying those M10's?" :)

Alrighty then, something from the AK side of the river will be Round 4.

AK it is - Italy.
Same concept- attack/defend & twists.

I have the next round planned out, I just need to "scale" it.
I'll create the map size to "fit" the number of units you want involved.
Random examples.
1000 pts = hamlet, small map fewer turns(20)
10000 = town, large map, more turns (40+)
etc.

This one can be as involved & complex as you want this round to be: from a few Inf units :roguetrooper: up to battalions
& armor plts. :tanksmiley:

Would this be the "grande Finale"? If so we should go out with an all out slugfest!..10,000 pts in a late 44 environment...no holds barred...praise the lord and pass the ammo!!

I think this is the right approach!

Unless someone has a different scale in mind I'll start the map soon for a large engagement.

The twist should be fun if I can balance it out- which you may not know about until you get to the setup. :)
