Long Hard Struggle to Save Fort Pitt
I recently found this thread over at AGC Forums and its well worth everyones time to read it. Its about the struggle the Historical Society is having with the developers over burying the last remaining remenants of Fort Pitt in Pittsburgh, Pa. Its not like they want to build a Hospital or bridge across the river, they want to cover it up so they can have music festivals by the water! As always its all about the almighty dollar! Check out the thread here -

There is an online petition you can sign to help save the fort at the Fort Pitt Preservation Societies Website. Here is the link -

I signed the Petition, Kent.
I can always be counted on to help save our nation's historical landmarks. After going to Gettysburg, (which by the way, I would love to go to again), I believe protecting & preserving these sites are very important. Good job, Kent! :top: |
I signed it. Hope they don't give the required phone number to telemarketers or fund raisers.
