Well I've taken the center village and cautiously edging up on his corner village. Hope to get my HMG's up to supress any of his troops and advance mine. Got a T-34 in support. Swampfox is moving up on my corner village with infantry and one assault gun so far. If he edges it out a bit further I'll have a shot with my AT gun I've kept hidden. Got a note from him yesterday saying they had some internet security risk and it would probably be Sunday before I could hear from him again.

Well, any suggestions for our force selection?
The 10 fortification points will buy a TRP
Do we want to go Quality or quantity of troops?
We can buy an armored car for punch. Infantry guns should be considered.
Im leaning towards pioneers with flamers for house to house fighting.
but they are expensive. Partisans have been mentioned is this a good option?
To go battalion strength would mean green troops =( and no support.
I have not yet looked at the map (just a glance) so Im not sure if we
can stand off and pound buildings =)

I've not looked at the map yet either as I've been concentrating on not getting my ass handed to me....too badly any, by Swampfox. I'll try to get a peak tonight or in the morning.

Forces are "tentatively" selected.
I sent E-mail to Mark/Mark and Kerry
with the forces

They certainly seem to love those Finns. Just watched the first movie from Bill and no forces sighted. I'm sure this will be a bloodbath by the time we are done, just hope most of it is his.

Ok guys In mine and Soldiers games I have only seen 1 full squad animation.
What is your game like Ranger?
Are they totally splitting to cover more ground?
Splitting a small force for decoy purposes?
Seems a bit much for just recon.
Or is my spotting rusty? I havent played much lately =)
Any thoughts guys?

I really haven't been able to see enough to tell if they've split any or not. Just seen a few icons, no squads except glimpses here and there.

Still have only seen 1 full squad icon, and from the number of squads I see, there must be quite a few split squads.

Fighting all over the map: Have 2 squds and a mg pinned and taking heavy fire from 2 of my infantry guns, 3 places in the city are seeing heavy fighting.

Those Finns are Jaakari, 32 ammo, 4 rifles, 4 smgs, 1 lmg.

Our engineers have 64 ammo. . . so I'm tring to keep him firing. The longer the firefight, the better for us.
