Little known Tac-tip's
Is it dead or alive?
Not sure how many know this tip but it's one you'll use every game guaranteed; "PoS" shows & explains it best at the GS site. (As much as PoS is a pain in the rear he posted some good tac tips.) http://www.gamesquad.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75810 Anyone here have any tips to share?

I stumbled upon it during designing & first thought "they don't put anything about this in the manual, I feel like a dolt for not seeing it earlier." (Just like how to put ATG's inside buildings... etc.)
But I don't know if it's a cheat, I never considered it one and until PoS posted it I thought everyone else knew about it. To me I see this as:(taking ATG's as an example) You see the gun & crew "shooting" at you so you shoot back at it. Then "suddenly" it's gone. In the game if the enemy player tries to move a gun off you can see them doing so but since you didn't see them moving it here after you shot at it & the "picture" went blank you destroyed it (or didn't see the infantry running off). You're just confirming you killed it. Along these lines: During play-tests I've had tanks shoot & score a hit on another tank but with no "KO" indication, however they automatically quit shooting & turn to another target. The A.I. knows it's dead. Flipping to the other side I watch and see that the targeted tank did take a direct "KO'd" hit but it isn't indicated as "knocked out" until later in the turn or next turn. It's been confirmed killed already before you see it confirmed on the screen. You see the tank hit, your A.I. know's it's dead & quits shooting; just like the ATG disappearing from the screen, you know you hit it & the blank screen is just looking at it & confirming you killed it so you can quit shooting at it. (especially if you are targeting a location)
