Good stuff Steve and very timely for me.

Last night we had our first Civil War Round Table meeting for this (school-like) year. We had Don Frazier of McMurry University talk about what the South might have done to relieve Vicksburg, had they acted early enough and had a great deal of good fortune. Of course the discussion included Walker's Texas Division (the Greyhounds), as well as CSA Generals Kirby Smith and Richard Taylor.
