A Work in Progress
This thread is a work in progress detailing the process of building my new computer. I have had the shittiest summer of my life. So, to give myself a diversion with a purpose I decided to embark on this little project. I am not in this alone; many conversations with our resident experts GasX, GoffyDude and Cooper have been absolutely indispensible in getting this thing off the ground. Most especially I would like to thank all those who allowed me to charge exorbitant prices to put air conditioning in their homes. Your nameless faces will never be, ehh, forgotten, too quickly.
As I am simply in the process of assembling the parts this may appear to be a jumbled confusion of a thread as I also assemble copious amounts of documentation, reading material and reasoning behind my decisions to buy and do what I am doing. Pictures will be included and I will try to keep them fairly small for our dial-up users but there will be a lot of them. I will be placing resources, links and pictures in no particular order until I get to the point of assembling the rig then I will begin to arrange the thread in some form of cohesive work. Hopefully the forum moderator will allow me to make this a sticky so I don't have to search for it behind all the other threads that get posted here. Oh wait... I am a moderator... fancy that. Stuck! All comments welcome!
