Here's an interesting discussion on Usenet between Norb and those who have problems with his honesty and taking sole control of the code:

Regardless of what might have happened to the designers of TC2M I plan on getting this game when it comes out. If it is anything like as great as TC2M it could be the next big thing for our group of players, especially to the Civil war buffs.

I believe it will be as good as TC2M. They are already testing the multiplayer, and oh my it sound promising. They are aiming to remove some "bugs" or AI flaws, like units walking in front of another friendly who's firing. A minor TC2M annoyance imo but just better if they refine the game.

This game is out.
Its online purchase only.
You download the demo and then
purchase an activation code to get full game.
It plays just like the TC games and is multi player capable
either co-op vs ai or head to head.
I have not tried the online part yet but with 2v2 or more games
this looks like a winner

Played my 1st online battle a 4v3
nobody got dropped and the gameplay was smooth.
For anyone who likes 19th century combat this is a winner so far
