Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945

I haven't spent much more time with Scourge of War. I am probably remiss, all I hear is how great this game is. Once I get my arms a wee bit around War in the East, i'll try to spend some more time with it. Unless I end up getting the new CM...in that case i'll probably not have enough time. Only so many hours in a day!

Using my free download avail with the purchase of a boxed game, I was able to load onto three computers (home, laptop and work) with no problem. On all three PC's, however, I had no luck getting the auto update to work. I ended up doing a dl from the Matrix website and that seemed to work fine. It seems that it is OK to go direct from the original download to the 1.03 patch.

I'm just stepping through the tutorial. The amount of detail is almost intimidating!

I notice that the text in a number of the popup screens is kinda jumbled and overlapped. You can read it, but it is not in nice neat columns like the tutorial I printed.
