I have the game and like it. Its different.
You really can Individually control Everyone on the field. There is even weapons scrounging and swapping. You will find yourself scrounging for a bakooka/ shell that you know is on your dead buddy in the field there...re-manning A.T. guns with the troopers nearby. Sure it has some faults but if the multiplayer pans out it could mean 4v4. But beware it is realtime and confusing as hell at 1st =)

I enjoy it. I have only been able to hook one MP game up with SSpoomy and it dragged a little bit but we got through it. There are some issues, mostly mechanical, but nothing impossible to overcome or damnable.

Well, armor hits can either miss, deflect, damage a system eg. tracks, main gun, MG, engine etc. or cause the crew to bail. Many times when a shell does hit you'll see pieces of the tank flying away. I have even had a spall fragment injure a soldier standing nearby. There are a few things that need to be patched however.
1. a reliable way to reverse 2. waypoints 3. covered arc. 4. target lines and incoming fire lines would be nice. 5. there needs to be a way to differentiate between Line of Sight and Line of Fire. As it is if you can see a unit and target it but it doesn't make a good enough target, your unit will manuever for a shot oblivious of potential dangers.
