Just wondering, am I missing something in some way hehe.

Been checking the forums periodically daily, but there doesn't appear to be much movement (if any).

Is this a reflection of the public forums being a little less active than private forums, to which I am just unaware of?

ARE there actually any more forums to which I just have not as yet been invited too?
I can live with not being invited hehe, I just want to know, is this all there is (what's visible).

And, what is needed to gain access to the downloads?

Come on guys, chance to make a score here, a guy that owns all three CMs never plays them, because I have never really goitten into them, and has like all friggin day most days to be doing "something".

I "might" be the ultimate online opponent, someone that could conceivablly play all day some days, any friggin day of the week too.
Weekend? whats a weekend? Oh yeah those two days that most ordinary blokes have to wait for at the end of something called work.

Yes, the private forums are very active. The public forums are a new concept for us and are still in a "test" mode basically.

Most of us aren't used to posting in the public forums -- I know 95% of my posts are in the private one.

As for the downloads, you should have access to the scenarios etc. in the Public Downloads section -- are you having problems with that?

I get this response to clicking on the Downloads button at the top.

Try clicking the public downloads link on the lower right hand side of the main page. I think the Downloads link at the top links to the private download section which has more stuff than the public section.

There are 2 download areas; one public and one private.

The public downloads area can be accessed from the Site Navigation pane on the right side of the home page. There you will find maps and mods for CM as well as Close Combat (the game on which KG was established some 7 years ago).

The Downloads area reachable from a link at the top of the page is reserved for members only and contains roughly 12 gigs of files ranging from ww2 combat footage, pics, publications ie. FM 101 Basic Infantry Tactics, game files suchs as patches, mods and conversions. My favorites are the combat footage from the assault on Falluja (being an ex-Marine and all).

There is a considerably active private section to our forum as well, members only.

Membership is not closed, any one can apply. Application is not a guarantee of acceptance, however. Gaming skill is only a small factor in the established criterion. We care more about what kind of person you are. We accept no punks, smacktards or jerk-offs and only barely tolerate FPS gaming. You can begin by asking any of our members about the process.

Now, sir, if you would like a game, I am game. CMAK or CMBB, your pick. Send me a set-up, again anything of your choosing as long as it is fair and fun, to agcent@cox.net
