Yea, Marshall Sspoom needs assistance. (Actually we want to dilute his talent pool!). This is a great game. Give it a shot!

Results updated. I have the next battle taking place on the Midwest map. Your victory against me on the MidEast map would have placed you on the central map for the next two battles (both of which you've won).

I figured it as the 2 I fought against you then Mark on Sat or sunday got me to center map. Then the battle I won today was the 1st of 2 needed to go to
the midwest. I was going on the assumption it took 2 wins to move from any tier of maps to the next. My 1st 2 losses put me on the mideast where I won 2 to send me back to center, where I today won the 1st of 2 necesary to move to mid west. But I dont have a problem with having to only win 1 on the mid east or west to move back to center while taking 2 losses to move to back(final) map.

From left to right on our imaginary map, I thought the map segments would look like this:
West MidWest 1 MidWest 2 Center 1 Center 2 MidEast 1 MidEast 2 East I imagined our very first battle was a "jump ball" like in college basketball and took place exactly between Center 1 and Center 2 and was to see where battle #2 was fought. We won, so it was fought on Center 2. We won that and the next battle was on MidEast-1. You won, and it's back to Center-2. you won again, so it's back to Center-1, you won again, now it's on to MidWest 2. So you need two wins to go from one segment to the next, just not in the way you were thinking.

I thought you had to lose 2 games on a map to be pushed off of it.

I guess I'm outvoted.
The two game thing is what I said in the rules; it just wasn't what I meant. But the two games in a row thing works for me too.

We need a victory, John. The last two I played with Steve were probably the best and closest games yet, not decided till the bitter end. So he's at least mentally worn down. Keep the pressure on! Both games I charged into what I thought were cracking lines only to have my wimpy Brits routed. They don't like the close battle bit. I need a couple of heavy Russian companies.

Yea, we definitely need a victory. I'm currently in London at a hearing to answer charges relating the fiasco that was my last battle.
I agree. Our Brits don't like to get dirty with the bayonets. Even the dreaded Highlanders don't like to break out the cold steel. I'll see if I can't get in a battle against the dastardly Marshall Sspoom later this week.
