In Hell's Heart (by KG_Thorshammer)
Most of you probably don't realize this because you don't play scenarios against the AI, but KG_Thorshammer has designed what I'd consider to be the best scenario against the AI out there (in my humble opinion). It's set in Berlin at the end of the war and your goal is simply to stay alive for 55 turns against the relentless Russian hordes. It will test every skill you have as a CM player -- covered arcs, ammo conservation, fire discipline, unit placement.
GIVE IT A TRY -- YOU'LL BE HOOKED AFTER 10 TURNS OR YOUR MONEY BACK! I finally survived Part 1 and my 260 remaining troops (with little ammo and even littler armor support) are preparing for a subsequent battle against the relentless Russian horde! |

Jag, it's way more fun than your TBF game. Also, it will feel like an entirely different map from TBF -- don't ask why, but for some reason it does because it you play it from an entirely different perspective.

Wow... now that I have verified the linguistic correctness of Kharkov's post I may now enjoy the aforementioned scenario.

Agcent, you actually had me worried that "littler" wasn't a word. I had no fricking clue since "littler" doesn't make its way into too many business legal memos. I breathed a sigh of relief when I found it in dictionary.com!

Back to the case at hand -- TRY THOR'S SCENARIO -- I want to see how my performance compares to all of yours!

it was the desperation of TBF that inspired me to create the scenario :)
The map suited the purpose just fine so i altered it a bit. It doesnt play like TBF though as there is a better chance of actually pulling out a victory, rather than seeing how the player handles an "impossible situation". Speaking of TBF I have been doing it again with kharkov lol. This time however I added about 600 points worth of additional German units to give more of a chance, and about 15 more minutes.. its pretty bloody right now. |
