Theater of War Patch

The monster Uber-patch for ToW is due out "Soon™". The patch is going to be about 1.25 giga... yes, GIGA-bytes but promises to fix a host of issues. A host of issues that relates directly back to the problem with CM:SF; too soon.

You guys play this game now? I was thinking about buying it. How is the mp?

I haven't played it since the day I got it in the mail because it was so buggy. I will try this patch and see what happens. The game is absolutely GORGEOUS to look at but... it don't play well yet. But the editor look amazing now that they have enhanced it.

Yea the map editor look cool. I played the demo and the game appear to be ok. Can't try the mp and it's the only part that interest me. I'm waiting to see what the FFL will say about the patch before buying it.

The Uber-Patch is sue for release by the middle of this week. It is tested, signed off and compiled. They are uploading it and the mirrors ought to have it available soon.

This patch is almost completely rewriting the SP as well as the MP. So SSpoomy, we might have to get our jiggy on and give it a whirl.

I don't know, Matrf. I am DL-ing the patch now and ought to be playing with it in a couple hours. It is over 1.2gb in size.

My god, the isp over here would say you abuse the service by donwloading big file like this.

I'm waiting for your opinion on that patch! I'm very interested in the mp.
