The results so far are quite diverse are they not! :)

On the side- If you have the game Stalingrad map(s) screen-shoots, photos etc of the area you liked send them my way & I will see what I can do for you. If you have a list of the units I'll work on that angle as well.

Although I thought this scenario gave a good taste of this type of fighting.

Soviet 1st Ukrainian Front forces under General Konev have encircled the city and are determined to quickly overpower the defenders and continue their advance to Berlin.

That poll proved that we are all divided as to what type of tourney you show put on.

The poll may have "closed" but if you are interested in participating please comment so you can be included when it begins.

Since the concept of the next one was so "varied" it's still open for discussion, and please do so!

Perhaps a 3x3km average map with 1 elite sniper on it per side & no flags?

I wish you would continue along the lines envisioned in the Cost of Glory Tournament concept. Just leave out the long infantry slogs through the desert! See:

I'd like to see something with combined arms late war so we can play with all the "good" toys.

Should we open up another "tighter" poll to get more of a consensus?

It's possibile to do 1 of each type listed in the poll I guess. Maybe the players who voted for "their" selection could state the parameters and I could make the scenarios for it (if required). This way everyone would get to play "their" type. If it worked out we could play each year or front etc. (& not have to even be "historic, just fun)

The dedicated players who are in so far -(of course with the poll closed no one else dedicated can get in...)

I like F2's or H's against T-34's, so late 42 or early 43
