Default Somebody better get a broom...

To start wiping away all the cobwebs from your basement Steve, or they will plum take over the place from non use

Reckon with social media and 95% of the population typing away with iphones and such.. facebook, not much need for a forums.

No cobwebs left as the flood cleared them out and his summer.
New floor and new walls, but at least the bookcases were above water level.

You in SC Steve where the floods are? Was curious how bad they were. Not been there much, except driving through on the way to Virginia/WV since was stationed at Charleston, many, many years ago (circa 1983) and not really stationed there then, minesweeper was on had to have some major repairs and Jacksonville couldn't make them, so to Charleston we went.

Great town, really liked the distinct old towne, then new town split into two. Gave it a certain kind of charm.. Except for the "ladies of the night" who would line up across the entrance, or bridge to the gates and beat upon windows of sailors cars entering the base all the time..

That's a lot of water man. Little lake behind us rose several feet back in '04 after the 3 hurricanes came through from all the rain. We thought for a bit it was going to get to our screen room. Close as have come since moving to Lakeland around 20y ago. Old house in WH was a flooding nightmare, low land, seemed like was always dealing with something and stormwater.

In Florida, where it rains nearly every day during the summer can't have that.
