Default What are You Reading Now?!

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Turn to page 161.
3. Find the 5th sentence.
4. Post it here.
5. Don’t search around and look for the coolest book you can find. Do what’s actually next to you.

Two days later Schleicher saw Hitler, and Goebbels reported that "the talk went off well."

From an old and beat-up copy of William Shirer's "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" that happened to be sitting on a box next to my pc.

He drew out the sword from the folds of the muleta and sighted with the same movement and called to the bull, Toro! Toro! and the bull charged and Villalta charged and just for moment they became one.

Hemingway: "In Our Time."

There's not a 161 pages in "In Our Time," so I just picked my favorite sentence from the whole book, pg. 106.

Default Interesting thread:)

From Hitler's Scientists by John Cornwell by.Viking Press (page 161 of a 535 pages)

In the meantime, although psychoanalysis did not die out altogether in Germany, the centre of gravity of the practice shifted to the United States, where many of the home-grown analysts were German trained.
