Default Decisive Battles

Anyone have or play any games in this series? I have DL'ed the Demo of the Ardennes. Haven't dived too deep yet but it looks very comprehensive.

Default I had it.

I had the original Ardennes Offensive and Korsun Pocket. It is a very good game but the scenarios are kind of limited. There is however a fairly active community that has made scenarios. All in all I thought it was good but since I am commited to the Panzer Campaigns for operational level wargames and know what I am doing more or less I never really wanted to take the time to learn how to play it properly so I sold it.

They are very well reviewed, quality games. Wish I had more time to mess with them, but I enjoyed the little plinking that I have done with them.

Here's the link to the SSG web site, where you can find user made scenarios for the various games in the series:

I found 'Korsun Pocket' quite uninvolving sadly. Not helped by the truly dreadful 'muzak' (like being stuck in a retailer's lift) that you can't turn off!! I keep returning to it every 6 months or so hoping it will seem better but it never does
