Best War Movies List
Saw this so I thought I'd toss it out here.
A few I thought should have made it: "Zulu," "Battle of Britain" and "The Eagle has Landed" MASH was not so much a war movie. (Band of Brothers of course but it was a mini-series not a movie) http://www.foxnews.com/slideshow/ent...ar-movies-time FYI- they changed the list since I saw it this morning to add "Readers Choice" selections. And 30 is a short list.

Gettysburg for sure and even Gods and Generals over some on this list
The Beast (I think) about a russian tank in Afghanistan. There is also "When trumpets fade" Im sure I can think of a few more to squeeze their way in. I also think Stalingrad and Cross of Iron belong there.

I don't know about best war movie, but these are my favorites:
1. The Deer Hunter ( My favorite movie of all time) 2. The Bridge on the River Kwai 3. Band of Brothers series 4. Platoon 5. Black Hawk Down
